Stuck with radio again due to the asinine blackout rules...

I like the first 4 spots in the order. Maybe our GM should have gotten drunk sooner so that the manager had been allowed to write a lineup card earlier in the season when games still mattered

I was not a fan of the Villar signing but he has proven me wrong. Still not much in the way of on base percentage but he is second on the team in homers and has provided very solid defense. I really like the defense of him, Lindor and Baez.

Nolin has a crappy ERA, poor record. So, wanna bet he holds us to 6 innings 2 runs???

Great outing from Hill tonight.
He is a guy who is useful if employed smartly. Today is a great example. He got through 5 in 63 pitches, and they were able to stretch one more inning from him. I would not have argued with taking him out after five. His limit is 75 pitches. There are some guys who are only good for a certain length. Pedro, his last couple of years, was good for 90, pushing more than that was whistling past the cemetery. Hill's is 75. I'm glad he got through the sixth, but we were lucky.

Rojas has re-jigged the lineup the past few games which I agree with but he needs to drop Lindor down from third. Lindor is a black hole in the order, just getting nothing from him.

I'm starting to worry that Luis is going to burn Loup out...

Loup has been borderline unhittable. A career year for him.

That was a game we HAD to have. Especially with Philthy losing and the Rednecks losing...
