No execution on the sac from Hill. Lack of fundies cost you every time.

Hill pitched well, five innings, two runs. He limited the damage in the third, but the pitch count rolled up in that inning cost him.
And, of course, the offense screws him over.

I know this is a broken record, but the Mets offense is pathetic.

I have no other adjective to use but pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.
Steve needs to clean house in the off season, what we are doing is not working and not getting better. I have no faith in any player in this active roster to do ANYTHING that contributes to a win. Not one guy.

Agree with you Brian. Something is rotten with this team and it needs to be purged. Cannot bring back this bunch and just think this year was a one off.

Lineups posted, and since this is Washington, I'm stuck with the radio.

Nolin has an ERA of 9.00 so he'll give up 1 run in 7 innings.

What happens when the Mets score more runs than the opposition? It has been so long I've forgotten!

I think it's called a "win"? Not sure, I hear about other teams getting those, but I can't recall when we last got one...
