Second and third and no out, we do what we do.
First of all, Villar did not even try to get the ball to the right side, then Pillar hits one right to the shortstop. Davis should not have tried for home, and then when he did, moron McNeil sprints to third without giving Davis the opportunity to even extend the rundown so that Pillar could get to second.
I don't fault Stroman, he's a goddamn pitcher. I blame the three so-called offensive players who can't execute a simple play to get even one fucking run in.

1. I thought Baez was out. The last replay showed that he MIGHT have been tagged on the wrist right as he was grabbing the base. 2. BIG hit from JD.

Going back to your earlier point Brian about not hitting to the right side, that's precisely the kinds of things I have seen the Dodgers and other good teams do, to drive in runs. Pillar has never been the type of player to do those little things. Just not in his DNA. As for the others...BAH!
